Family Picture with the Claus Couple
A couple of our number couldn't climb into the sleigh due to range of motion issues. TJ really hammed it up. This was after the Christmas musical, so the boys are wearing the clothes they had on under their costumes. One year I will learn!

Christmas Musical
Marsha, Joe Bob, Coker and I attended the Legacy Church of Christ Christmas musical. What fun!
Paul is the shepherd in green with a brown head covering. Can you guess his favorite part of playing a shepherd? Hint: it has to do with props.
Here are the cutest Wisemen you will ever see. TJ is Wiseman #4 in mustard yellow and green. Not exactly scripturally accurate, but these 5-year-olds had great lines in their lisp-y voices. TJ's second line began, "By my calculations..."
They ended in a group singing JOY TO THE WORLD.
See my smiling wiseman? He's supposed to be singing, but I think he sees me with the camera.

TJ's Tooth
TJ finally lost that wiggly tooth! He was at McDonald's with Teresa. Paul told him to turn it around, which he did. Teresa offered to pull it out using a napkin, but TJ said he could do it himself. So he did.
The boys didn't notice, but that looks like lipstick on Jangle's cheek. I think he got a kiss from the tooth fairy!

Pictures to Share
Thanksgiving was at mom's. I took just a few pictures. The monkeys obligingly climbed over us all in sequence.
Mom took one of us. This was after my turkey-and-football-induced nap, so all makeup is gone. TJ is patting my stomach for me? Monkeys!
It's tough to get around with crutches, especially with a laptop and paperwork. Here's how my Superman does it:
TJ liked this bench. Is it just me, or does Paul look like a model?
Crazy hair day!

Elf on the Shelf
After hearing friends talk about their elves and seeing all the cute things elves get into on Pintrest, I decided to request an elf for the Roswell shelf. He arrived November 29 and here are the things he's done so far...
The first morning, he decided to play on the train. Coker did not know the rules and touched him when he fell, but it did not seem to affect his magic.
I think he's a little like Paul, who also loves his own reflection. At least he seems to like animals, too.
I've seen pictures of other elves doing this. I guess he really misses the snow! I hope he's a cleaning elf.
Both boys have been excited to find "Jangle" every morning. I'm glad we got our own elf this year.
