What TJ Wants to be When He Grows Up

TJ decided to tell me what he wants to be when he grows up. A scientist, so he can use a magnifying glass. Hooray for me; I got him a cute magnifying glass for his Easter basket this year. He also wants to be a mailman or a server. On further questioning, by server he means pizza delivery. I think he really likes getting the mail and having pizza delivered.

TJ's Stats

I didn't get TJ in to see Dr. Dalton for his 4-year check-up until March 2. Bad mom! He was (officially) 41.5 inches tall and 37.6 pounds. Don't ask me about 4-year-old pictures!

Kindergarten Show

The kindergarten show was very cute. The kids had assigned colors to wear, depending on the song they would sing at the front of the stage. Here's Paul singing about yellow and signing. That's Tabb beside him.
Paul is "star student" this week. It's chosen at random, but he brings pictures from home on Monday and a new object everyday. He gives clues about the object and the class guesses what it could be. Monday: binoculars, Tuesday: legos and Wednesday: hulk glove. His teacher interviewed him at the beginning of the week. Favorite color: yellow, favorite food: fruit, something I'm good at: air hockey, favorite part of school: free choice, favorite game: Operation, what I want to be when I grow up: a costume designer. This was the end of the closing song. It's a little shaky because I was focused on listening, not recording. OK, a lot shaky.

Hint: keep moving your mouse over the recording until the arrow turns red, and then click.
