Escape Bunny
Bugs, our pet bunny is an escape artist. Coker built a hutch for her outside and she's dug out several times and jumped out of an opening we thought too high for her. Each time we've found her in the neighborhood and brought her home. Recently, she's been staying inside while Coker improved her hutch and with the work going on in our backyard. She's learned how to open her cage door and more recently...
I guess she can feed herself now.
First Day of School 2012

Don't Touch the Hot Lava
Today there is a huge hole in the backyard. Soon we will have a pool! Paul asked if the inside of the pool would be colored. Yes, it will. "What color?" Paul was excited.
"Dark blue," Coker answered
"What? That's boring," Paul pouted.
"What color do you think it should be?"
"Yellow."
"Yuck! Like pee?"
"No, maybe red."
"What? Like swimming in blood?"
"No, like swimming in HOT LAVA!"

Eating Sopapillas
We ate sopapillas at On the Border, where we were given honey and chocolate sauce. TJ loves honey and poured some into his dessert. I watched and said, "TJ is a honey connoisseur."
TJ picked up the chocolate sauce and replied, "No, I'm a chocolate dinosaur."
