Mavs Game

The Mavericks lost to the Spurs, but we had a great time.

TJ saw how high we were in the AA Center and had a mini anxiety attack.  He cried for about five minutes after we took our seats.  He finally calmed down and enjoyed his nachos, sticker book and the game.

Paul LOVED the game.  He was optimistic the entire game that the Mavs could come back to win.

Outside after the game, the boys ran around.  TJ remembered where we parked.  Let's go again!

Brotherly Love

TJ made an "I like" book in school with a different "I like..." phrase on each page.

I like my brother!

For Christmas, Paul made this gift for TJ.  TJ broke a jar he had claimed for himself, even though it read, "Coker's Junk Jar."  Paul noticed how sad TJ was about the broken jar and made him one that read, "TJ's Junk Jar."  He wrapped it himself and even added some junk to get little brother started.

Shep Farm Visit

Coker's Texas family gathered in Shep for a Christmas and New Year's celebration.  Cousins came from Indiana, Virgina and even Abilene.  My boys were excited to travel and sleep in a rented RV.  They slept in the loft area over the driver's seat.

Paul loves baby Caden.  He held that baby as much as we would let him.

Aunt Nise and Aunt Sharon planned a wonderful time for us all.  Coker got them snow queen hats for Christmas.

Little Daniel checks out TJ.

The bigger kids went for rides in the Mule.  Cayelyn, Cole, TJ and Paul are in the back this time.

Those kids were silly.  Casey, Cole and TJ burrowed into Aunt Sharon's sofa to play some crazy game.

TJ Loses Tooth #2

He twisted and pulled it out with a napkin.

Family Picture with the Claus Couple

A couple of our number couldn't climb into the sleigh due to range of motion issues.  TJ really hammed it up.  This was after the Christmas musical, so the boys are wearing the clothes they had on under their costumes.  One year I will learn!

Christmas Musical

Marsha, Joe Bob, Coker and I attended the Legacy Church of Christ Christmas musical.  What fun!

Paul is the shepherd in green with a brown head covering.  Can you guess his favorite part of playing a shepherd?  Hint: it has to do with props.

The shepherds are singing their song.  The chorus is "Thank you my God for what you've done.  You gave the greatest gift of all.  Thank you for your only son."  Paul was great; he delivered his lines well and sang out.

Here are the cutest Wisemen you will ever see.  TJ is Wiseman #4 in mustard yellow and green.  Not exactly scripturally accurate, but these 5-year-olds had great lines in their lisp-y voices.  TJ's second line began, "By my calculations..."

They ended in a group singing JOY TO THE WORLD.

See my smiling wiseman?  He's supposed to be singing, but I think he sees me with the camera.
