Mom! Mom!
We did a scavenger hunt in a wooded area at a party this weekend. TJ had already been to a swimming party before coming, so when he got tired part-way through the hunt, he and Coker went back. After finding all of the flags, my team of 7-year-olds ran back for prizes. The other volunteer mom and I strolled to the finish, where I found TJ on the edge of the woods calling for me. When he saw me, his little face was so relieved. He was worried I was lost.

The Game is On!
It has begun. The love of watching sports. Paul noticed a football game on a television as we passed and asked me to find the game on our TV when we got home. Looking through channels, we came across some basketball game and he stopped me. "This is good. Wanna watch with me?"
"Um, no, but I bet dad will when he gets home."

Rays Last Game of the Season
The Colleyville 5U Rays played their last game of the season Saturday. There never is a score, but TJ had a great time. After the game, they were given trophies. TJ looks pretty pleased.
Here's the whole team! TJ is in front second from the right.
Just to tell a story on him... TJ told Amina that after the game, the team (the Rays) huddles, puts their hands together and shouts "Raise!" because they raise their hands.

TJ's Two BFFs
After a friend's birthday party, TJ told me he has two best friends. "Who are they?" I had to know.
"RJ from class and Paul."

Preschool Graduation
TJ graduated from preschool. His class performed several songs (nineteen, according to one of his classmates). I think it was closer to six. They listed the books of the old testament and sang the books of the new testament. I teach his class Sunday mornings and the easiest way to calm down all those boys is to ask them to tell me the books of the Bible.
Throwing their caps!
