How would YOU draw Ninja pants?

It snowed today and we went to a birthday pool party. It was inside at Keller Pointe and the water was warm. I had trouble deciding what to wear over my swimsuit, though.

Paul got his first "real" phone call from a friend. When I answered the phone, Paul's buddy down the street asked to speak to Paul. He told me he had important things on his mind like what Ninja pants should look like.

Dishes

I can't decide which is more beautiful: the fact that they are doing dishes without being asked, or that they are working together!

Important Envelope

Pulling back the covers and climbing into bed, I found a manila envelope under my pillow. It had a roll of packaging tape in it and was covered with Paul's artwork. This was not any ordinary envelope. It was a certificate-sized envelope from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. It had held my preceptor certificate that I will take to work and display, as mandated by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy for a pharmacist functioning as a preceptor. HAD held. I was annoyed that my important certificate was missing. Paul was asleep, so I would wait until morning to ask him about it. I told Coker about it and went to sleep hoping I wouldn't have to order a new one from the Board.

True to my forgetful nature, I didn't think about the certificate or the envelope in the morning. As I sat at the table with Paul and TJ, Coker came in and stood up for me.

"Paul, do you remember that envelope you left in the bed? Where are the papers that were inside it?" he asked sternly. Paul answered and Coker found the certificate.

Paul looked at me and sadly said, "I meant for that to be a present."

He'd decorated the package and left me a little trinket under my pillow as a surprise.

Flowers

When we passed the floral department at the grocery store, TJ said, "I want to give you flowers." "Can I give you flowers?"

I bought them, but isn't he sweet? Yes, he is wearing a PJ top - in case you're wondering. That was not worth the battle.

Cowboy TJ. Today he asked where his "cowboy shoots and pistols and gun" are. We left the cap guns with Poppy in Shep.

Paul Wants to Dress Like Dad

TJ's Snack

TJ says (for the 253rd time that day), "I'm huuuungry."

"Go find a snack," I replied, thinking he would find one of the 5 or so options available in the fridge or pantry.

A few minutes later, I heard him spitting something out. He had a white substance running down his chin and continued spitting and sticking out his tongue. On the table, I found this...

Did he think the mix would turn into corn muffins in his mouth? Or did he think the mix would taste good dry? I'm not sure, and TJ "can't tell you."
